How did you meet?
Well we all know this haha. For those of you that don't know, Art and I met on the first series of The Bachelor NZ back in 2015. I know what you're thinking, and it actually worked for us!
When and where did you get married?
We got married on Friday 15th February 2019 at Oakura Bay on Waiheke Island.
What was the theme/aesthetic of your big day?
I'm not too sure what to call it, but I guess it was "beachy glam with a modern twist"?
What was the biggest source of inspiration while planning your wedding?
I didn't get inspiration from many things actually, I know what I like, so I tried not to get too "trendy" and just choose what I loved. Actually that's a lie, I spent a LOT of time on Pinterest when I was planning the wedding.
The most memorable moment from your day:
There were two... One was when I saw Art for the first time whilst walking down the aisle, and the other was when we announced that we are having a baby at the reception dinner. Two very special moments!
The biggest hit on the dance floor was:
"I love Rock n Roll!" was one of the first songs, and it really got everyone going!
We honeymooned in:
We did a road trip around Northland, and it was stunning. The weather was perfect and we did nothing but swim, and eat! We had a couple of nights at Donkey Bay Inn in Russell which was amazing too.
Did you always have an idea in mind of what you wanted your dress to look like?
Pretty much. I came to Trish with a pretty strong concept of what I wanted, but we tweaked it along the way to be my DREAM dress!
